Katrina Blair has a warm, accepting approach to therapy. As a multicultural therapist she understands various cultural differences. She does her best to provide a safe and supportive place to share your stress and anxiety.
Katrina Blair is the Vice-President of Alpha Behavioral Counseling Center and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Katrina came from humble beginnings and was born and raised in Fresno. Katrina did not let this stop her from earning her Bachelors of Art in Social Work and her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University, Fresno. Katrina is a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) therapist.
Since 2004, Katrina has worked in various agencies providing therapeutic services in the Fresno city and rural areas, along with various cities in the Bay Area. She has a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental approach to therapy. She has a special interest in working with adult clients with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. With each client she considers and respects individual differences, experiences and values and utilizes her experience to best serve the need of each client.
Katrina played an integral part in in the development and expansion of Alpha Behavioral Counseling Center. She has helped to grow the once small one-room office into to the currently thriving ten office company, that provides mental health services to numerous residents of the Central Valley. Katrina’s vision for Alpha came after years of firsthand experience and witnessing the great need for mental health services in the Central Valley. This led to her desire to grow Alpha into the successful practice that it is today.
Katrina’s greatest professional joy is to educate future therapists of tomorrow. Katrina works tirelessly to help associate therapists feel assured of their clinical skills, by offering support and guidance. She is a natural teacher who takes great joy in watching as associate therapists grow as clinicians, become licensed, and move forward in their careers.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her energetic son. Along with spending time with family, friends, and seeing new places. She is always up for trying something new.
Katrina is currently a consultant in training and she is accepting new consultants for group and individual consultation.
