Melanie is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary in May 2021. Melanie completed her trainee hours at Omega Mental Health and On-Site Counseling, working with adults, children age 5 +, couples, and families.
Melanie desires to provide a respectful, nurturing, culturally sensitive, safe environment for individuals to explore and process their concerns and experiences. She brings a compassionate, holistic, collaborative, and humorous approach to the therapeutic process. To meet the client where they are at and honor their unique stories Melanie believes in using a variation of evidence-based modalities including mindfulness, attachment focused, trauma focused approaches to empower individuals to believe in themselves, embrace their strengths and begin healing. Melanie feels privileged to work with individuals of all ages and especially enjoys utilizing play therapy with children and counseling from a Christian perspective (if requested).
