Deanna is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist that is also trained in TF-CBT. She received her master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. Deanna completed her trainee hours at Omega Mental Health.
Deanna entered the therapy field to be able to walk alongside others during their time of recovery. Deanna believes that therapy is a place where others can grow and learn about themselves. She uses a psychodynamic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach with her clients. Deanna has experience working with individuals and children who have been impacted by trauma.
Deanna hopes to bring humor, respect, and cultural diversity to each session. Deanna believes that the therapeutic relationship is essential to the therapeutic process. She believes that each client can achieve the goals they set for themselves.
Deanna also volunteers with CAMFT as part of their Editorial Advisory Council reviewing articles for The Therapist magazine.
