As a working therapist, Barrett has seen clients coping with anxiety, depression, addictions, mood, and chronic mental health issues.

Michelle earned her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from California State University, Fresno. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies also from California State University, Fresno. While in pursuit of her education, Michelle volunteered with various organizations including the Bulldog Pantry, No More Slumlords, Technologies for Education and Social Advancement, and Mediator Mentors.

Vanessa received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor Specialization in English from UCLA. Vanessa initially wanted to pursue a career as a medical doctor until taking a psychology class in high school. During the class, Vanessa realized the importance and lack of mental health care due to its many stigmas. Because of this, she felt a strong desire to pursue a mental health career in hopes of helping others heal emotionally.

Wanting to further pursue a career in a helping profession she went on to earn her Master’s of Science degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and Professional Clinical Counseling also from California State University, Fresno.
